So, since I've got broadband internet now, I figured I'd try that Pandora Radio thing that I keep hearing about from everyone... even Aidan!

I was going through the registration form. Then comes the box about gender. I thought to myself, "Why in all the worlds do they need to know that to let me listen to music?" So I clicked on the link to tell me their reasoning.

OK, so it's all about targeted advertising. I'm not fond of advertising, but I am fond of free. I figure if they're going to send me ads, the ones that I'll be least annoyed with will be the ones targeted toward guys.

So, for Pandora's purposes, I am male. Heh. I really should try that on more sites.

It tickles me that I'm ok being a woman, but for most societal categorization purposes uninvolved with checking what's under my clothes I may as well be male. Not sure what that makes me. I really ought to train myself out of wanting definitive labels for myself. Labels just don't like to stick. *shrugs*
