There's definitely something to be said about an MMORPG in which you can travel to the west coast of the continent in in-game evening. There's a place where the coded lighting streams through the trees and silhouettes respawning stags on a clearing that opens out onto a beautiful shoreline sunset. You can just sit your character down and enjoy as the pink light tinges the sand. This moment of virtual contentment brought to you by Garumph the Tauren from World of Warcraft.

Edit: I had no idea a post about World of Warcraft would get this much attention. Neat!

My character name is Garumph, mechanchaos is Faedra. We're both horde. One of mechanchaos's friend/coworkers shares his account with us, so we only have one character each. Don't I wish our budget allowed for broadband and individual accounts!

I'm altogether too addicted to that game. It's making me wish I could afford to get my husband and I each an account so we could party together. He thinks we would kick butt. I just think it would be fun. Last night he borrowed a different friend's level 60 orc shaman so we could play together. Despite the server issues, we had a good time.

Neat. I'm interested in both sides, really, but since Garumph is my only character I went with my old stand by of giant-sized, male, and warrior. (A friend shares his account with us.) Tauren was the race that best fit the bill. I have fun with it.

I like the Tauren, they are not overtly evil (read undead) or too warlike (read Orc) - I think they are just misdirected :) mine is a Shaman.

I also play far too much :) - I have a 60 Dwarf Warrior, 57 Human Mage and 53 Human Paladin, my other Alts and Hordies are sort of between 15 and 35

A while back when an alignment quiz was running rampant though LJ, I rated as true neutral. It makes for a good Tauren. Love the earth, battle the enemies. :)
