Today is bee-yoo-tee-ful outside. The sun is busily warming my cats and I've got four out of six within-the-apartment windows open and letting in the smell of springtime. There are even crocuses blooming out front! Real, honest-to-goodness flowers that somehow didn't get killed by the psychotic excuse for a winter we've had.

Isn't that always the way? When Minerva had her kittens, John and I each wanted to pick one of our own, and of course we couldn't give away Minerva who'd chosen us... Then who could refuse to love and nurture an orphan? It's how we ended up with four. :)

Those bengals are gorgeous! I imaging they're on the expensive side too. I agree that getting both to grow up together is probably the kindest way to do it. I love raising kittens!

Arent they stunning :) and you are right, they arent cheap. They run from 'Breeding quality' to 'Show quality' to 'Non Show quality' a Non Show quality one is anything between £350 and £500, which I know is a hell of a lot of money, but I am going to put some by out of the move to buy one, I guess other guys would by a 42" television or a Bose sound system - ME? I just want a cat :) (think I have mentioned before - I prefer cats to people)

I want a female (I believe that they will doctor her first so I cant use her to breed) and am going to call her Isis :)

Wow. That is a lot of money. But they're amazing. :) All our cats were initially freebies. But wow it would be nice to have a spotted one someday!

And I can totally understand preferring cats to people. There are a select few people I get along well with. TVs and sound systems aren't nearly as cuddly.
