I blame a coworker of my husband's who gave us a lot of the stuff we've got. It wasn't in English, so I'm having something of a struggle of learning band names where our system garbles the text. The stuff mechanchaos's coworker gave us seems to be primarily compilations. I hope I can find online sources for some of the stuff with female vocalists, but I don't have a group name to work from yet.
Also, if you're interested in music that isn't in English, I recommend checking out Varttina (http://www.varttina.com) if you aren't already familiar with them.
To be honest, I've never actually heard any of their stuff. So much hype flew around surrounding it, that I never took the time to download any. How would you describe their music?
