Sometimes I think that the only thing stopping me from being "that creepy guy" is my gender.

I can be something of a lech... Granted I'm not always as loud and vocal about it, but it's in my head a lot.

indeed - the only place that's ever given me an inkling about that characteristic of yours is in lj. i'd argue that it's normal and that a lot of people are like that but not terribly vocal also. it's what makes the world go 'round. that and centrifugal force or something similar.

So far at chorus, I've been pretty quiet and shy still. I tend to clam up around big groups of people I don't know well. Once I get to the point where my mouth opens, though? Then it'll be leaking out here, there, and everywhere! ;)

I don't think that is true. While you exhibit some of those tendencies you seem to care for what people think and feel.

I do, for the most part, care about what people think and feel. On the other hand, I can be oblivious too.

Was this prompted by one our our conversations at the wedding last weekend?

It was. That conversation got me thinking.

Sometimes I feel like that, too. :-P
