more kitten business

I was wondering if I could have a final count of folks interested in kittens. No, none will be leaving Minerva yet. I just want to get headlong into deciding who will name which kitten. To expediate things, I'm going to count the names tomorrow evening. Thank you all for your interest and your... susceptibility to the cuteness bombs... er... I mean your willingness to take one of these adorable little kittens into your home.

We won't be able to take a kitten after all :( Our landlord can not stand cats, and doesn't care how good of care we take of it, or how well behaved it is. He will not accept having a cat here. Period. He said he would allow a small dog, which would require more care, a much bigger yard, and is more of a flea magnet than a cat, but we can't have a cat.

*very not happy about this, as was getting excited about Abby...yes, I was going to take a tabby.*

This is why I haven't said anything as of yet...I was waiting on his approval...and well, it didn't go as well as I was hoping it would. I'm sorry :(

*pouts* Well, you're welcome to come over and snuggle Sage and Dweezil (when he lives here) all you want! (I can't say the same for the boys, though, as Sage hides from them.)

It's ok. We still have the chinchillas, and I suppose it really would be better to wait til we have a larger living space before adopting more animals.

Oh no! Icky non-cat people. Grrr. ***would have loved to have had you be the people for one of the girls, offers big hugs*** You can stop by and visit anytime. All of them will be here at least until mid-late April. After that you can come visit those who will be staying here. ***more hugs***

As far as I can tell, it seems that adrianpaendrag is no longer interested in one of the little ones. That brings the final count to dawnstar, kolys, cheshire23, skrshawk, mechanchaos, and myself. Dweezil, the red kitten, will be going with dawnstar and kolys. mechanchaos is taking the black kitten, Morpheus. I will be the person for the grey and mackerel tabby kittens: Zephyr and Epiphany respectively. cheshire23 and skrshawk have claimed the ginger kitten, Crookshanks. Since the tortoiseshell tabby had not been claimed by this evening, I have offered her to cheshire23 and skrshawk in order to better provide companionship to Crookshanks. They haven't yet named her, that I know of.
