Well, the symptoms were the same, and I guess I was hitting the wrong spot to find the bladder. Leo's got the same thing as last year. They "booked" him. He's going to be catheterized and tested later today and he'll likely be there three days. Lots of no-Leo time. :( The poor little guy. At least I didn't have to take him to the emergency clinic. He'll be under the same care the whole time. Still, I'm worried about him.

Bladder infection? Poor baby. Another flister of mine had to have her cat euthanized because he was having recurrent problems and she didn't have the two thousand dollars for the operation necessary to correct it (involves full-blown castration, I think?) I'm so glad I've never had to deal with that...

My cat Petie has this exact same problem.
Is Leo on the Prescription Diet cat food? Petie eats the c/d cans and dry food, and it seems to maintain him pretty well, although he gets bored with it.
Best wishes and good luck to Leo, he's lucky his humans love him. :)

*hugs you tightly, even though we talked on AIM earlier, so that you have more hugs to come back to when you're next online*

Summer is just not kind to that little guy. :(

*Hugs* I'm sorry to hear about your kittie's health problems. Although I don't have any cats, I do have 3 dogs of my own, and its always saddening to have them sick.

I'm keeping you and yours in my prayers. *Hugs again*
