For the longest time I've worn no-wire 44D bras in cotton-spandex blends. Saturday I got fitted since things had been hanging loose for some time now. She measured me at 41DD, but the 42DD no-wire cotton-spandex blend bras I got fit just fine, with shrink room to spare. It feels awesome to be properly supported again, smaller, yet with bigger breasts. Whee!

If you like no wire bras, may I recommend (it's expensive but worth it) the Ipex wireless by Victoria's Secret. I now own 2 (online they're 45-48 in our sizes). I reserve them for when I'm on 24 hr call since I only have 2. The last time I wore it i worked non-stop til 3am, slept for three hours and when I changed after my day was over the bra was so comfy I had forgotten I was wearing one.

Sounds like yours are as comfy as mine. :) I get mine at Lane Bryant currently, but I had an experience that soured me to Victoria's Secret. Granted, I realize it was one salesperson there; however, I haven't set foot in one since... 1996 or 1997? Hmmm. Granted, if I keep on marching downward, I may just have to revisit one sometime. Eh. I can save it for later. These two new bras are great, and the old ones fit well enough for casual wear too. I'm a cheap-ass.

ha new clothes are a trip, especially when it's more comfort/utilitarian type stuff like the bra. :) it sounds like your losing the weight where you want to first, which is good. i'ma be moving in a few days. hopefully this warm spell we got lasts til then and then some so i am itching to work out and get active with the nice sun! otherwise.. i'll keep feeling guilty for being such a sloth in the cold north hehehe

GRATS tho, thats awesome. what happened at vickie' secret that put you off them for 10 years now? lol

It was awesome walk-weather out there today. It took me more than an hour and a half and several close encounters with wildlife to get back. Whee!

Well, I'd asked for a fitting in a Victoria's Secret. The saleschickie took my measurements, gave me a look like I ought to have known better, then not-so-politely informed me that, of course, Victoria's Secret didn't carry brassieres in my size. I think it was something like a 36 or a 38 D. You'd think a store that uses so much sex to sell their stuff, they'd keep stuff around for more voluptuous women. (I weighed about 170 at that point too... not exactly supersized -- yet.)

It may have changed. I honestly don't know. Perhaps the saleschickie was simply being an ass. In any case, she pointed me toward Lane Bryant and I haven't looked back since.

FYI Victoria's Secret carry up to 38DD (my size) in the store and even sizes bigger online. The saleslady was being a bitch. I've often been frustrated looking for "pretty" things there because the in-store selection of XL is minimal. But the Lane Bryant stuff is great.

When I get down in the in-store range, I'll have to take a new peek. For now, I can't complain about the LB stuff I have. :)
