UGH! Why is it, that Target and Wegmans have both stopped selling flashlight bulbs? It's ludicrous. I mean, they seem to expect you to up and buy a new flashlight if your fucking bulb burns out. That's what one Wegmans worker said when I asked about the flashlight bulbs. "Buy a new one, it's cheaper." What an Earthforsaking waste!
The thing is, I used to go camping as a teenager. Every time, I went loaded with batteries for my flashlight. What would go wrong? The bulb would burn out. At the worst fucking time too. It is not fun trying to find the TP in a latrine with no working flashlight at 3am in the morning when that piss just won't wait. Flashlight bulbs are not something I'm going to leave home without. If I hadn't had so many mudloving errands to go on today already, I would have tried several other places (which I will tomorrow).
Does anyone know of a place that sells flashlight bulbs? I'm going to try a couple local convenience marts, and then I'll try the camping specialty stores like EMS and Galyans (if I must). I just wish the capitalist pigs would realize that their kids' mansions will be built on landfill...
Now for a non sequitur...

Wow. That's impressive...I think s:) I've never had that bad luck with flashlights, not over multiple occasions. But you have my sympathies on finding bulbs -- I wasn't sure anyone but speciality stores kept them in stock anymore. In which case, it's not just a matter of it being cheaper, but "easier" to replace the whole thing. Dumb.

They've at least ceased selling them at Target and Wegmans, but I think you're right as to the reason. It sucks.
