I'm officially crazy. No, this has nothing to do with the quiz results earlier.

I have wanderlust, big time. The idea weaseled it's way into my head that it might be a good weekend to run off to Howe Caverns with Aidan and mechanchaos. I know. It's crazy. It gets better though. The idea is to get up uber early in the morning to drive out there, go on a tour of the caverns, then buzz up to Sacandaga Lake for camping at Northampton Beach. And hell, as long as we're there, what would complete our weekend better than taking Aidan to the Barton Mine. We might as well get some mileage from our season passes. We'll only have to pay for Aidan and for the garnet we bring out. Whee! Then Sunday afternoon and evening we'll drive back.

So do you think I'm certifiable yet?

No, sweetheart, I don't think you're crazy. I think that's a WONDERFUL idea. You guys have never had a family vacation, as far as I know. Why not take one now, before the busyness of school sets in. You have a free weekend, so why not make the best of it?

And to think, I'm not used to spontaneously deciding to travel like that. Sure, our car still needs a tune up... Still, it can't be that bad off if it made it up the flip side of Gore Mountain twice and still chugs home.
