Guh! ***drools*** Ye gods, my husband smells good tonight. See, we showered, planning to go to dinner and a movie. Being the BPAL addict that I am, I set out to try on The Brides of Dracula, working on a review for the forum as I am apt to. So, when [livejournal.com profile] mechanchaos got out of the shower, I started teasing him about what scent I should put on him. It came to me that it would be amusing for him to wear some of my as-yet-untried Count Dracula to go with what I was wearing. He shocked me and submitted to an annointing. OH YE UNNUMBERED WORLDS OF DELIGHT! It is spicy and smooth. It took some serious willpower to get dressed and go out after that. But, I got to smell him all evening long! He's not one to willingly undergo annointing often. Somehow, I have a feeling he'll be wearing this one again.

*queues the Benny Hill theme picturing Mechanchaos trying to run away like in those TAG commercials* <_<

hehe. I sent mine a vial of Oberon, in part because [livejournal.com profile] andsaca369 and I had promised to introduce him to it (and I was sending him a package of stuff anyway), and partly because it's not a scent *I'd* ever wear, although I like it.

Alas, he said the same thing. heh. I will have to make him a guinea pig of the rest of my vials when he comes to visit...

I'm beginning to wonder if I have an allergy to some of the BPAL notes. A few times lately when we've gotten together, I've ended up with allergy/asthma flareups during the evening. I don't imagine it's /you/ I'm allergic to (and if so, I'm stocking up on lots of Allegra because I'm not about to give you up!), but I dunno what it is. Could be coincidence, too. Who knows?

But yay for nice-smelling husbands. And yay for a date-night, too! :)

Other times, he has run away. This time, nope, he was too busy getting smothered with snuggles after the scent hit...

That sounds like it'll be fun. [livejournal.com profile] mechanchaos had already asked me to order some Herr Drosselmeyer for him to try. Now Count Dracula makes him uber-sexy. My poor, ailing credit card.

I wish you an excellent, scent-filled time when he comes to visit. :)

I hope I'm not causing allergy ick, especially since the only scents I've worn more than once around you, that I remember, were Et Lux Fuit and Bastet. The rest don't have that many notes in common...

But, yeah, drop-to-my-knees-sexy smelling husbands are wonderful people to have around, especially on a date night. (Yes, that date night did end up in rather carnal way, uterus-of-doom-be-damned.)

I'm not sure if it's a specific scent, or just a general sensitivity to the smells... or maybe a class of notes rather than a specific on. I was even sniffly the last day I wore my Cordelia, and that doesn't have much in common with the scents you choose.

It could also be unrelated, as I said.

*hugs and loves you, anyway!*

Whee! (Checked just to be sure...) Nope, not empty yet. So, does that mean you'll be putting some on today?!? ***yum***
