One of the first stones I liked a lot was lapis lazuli. One of my favorites is smoky quartz. Hmm re: purple clear and white. It makes me think of amethyst or fluorite, perhaps agate. Then again, I could be missing the mark entirely. My husband likes rose quartz quite a bit. We have a lot of rough garnet from a trip to a garnet mine in the Adirondacks.
