OK, I finally did it.

I accepted mechanchaos's offer of a code for one of these things... I may not check very often. Then again, what they say about cats and curiosity also applies to me. Luckily there is a lot of satisfaction to go around. ***grins***

***stretches and yawns*** I'm about to head to bed now. This evening was a positive one. mechanchaos and I had dawnstar, kolys, and ecwoodburn over for dinner and kitten time. Being a full-time parent has rendered me rather socially inadept compared to when I was a student, so I was nervous at the outset. They are all good people from the experiences I've had so far, and it was fun to hang out.

Thank you folks for stopping over. Maybe if the socializing thing happens more often I will cease to think of being around others as the exception rather than the norm. ***giggles a little*** Well, sleep - or at least bedroom time - is calling.

I know I was being a little enigmatic about the "new thing" mechanchaos had gotten me into. I can be silly like that. I was wondering whether folks would notice that I had added them to my friends list and let random curiosity take them to my info. No biggie. I'm just weird like that. ***shrugs*** Take care of yourselves, and have a good night.
