(no subject)

Yay! dawnstar, kolys, ecwoodburn, and hbbtrbbtbcnbt came by for a visit. I got to feed dawnstar, kolys, and ecwoodburn my cinnamon waffles, which are always a fun meal. Entertainment consisted of good conversation, lots of kitten time, Aidany antics, and a few kid-oriented background movies.

...Which means that for the second time in a single weekend I got to be all social! And, of course, I got to share my love of the kittens with friends new and old. I get such a simple joy from passing out cute little bundles of fur to everyone (including myself) and watching. Cat-beings aside, the act of opening my home to friends is a wonderful and thoroughly appreciated development in my life.

I apologize for the chaos that sped Aidan through our conversations. Methinks I need to do a reread of a discipline book we have in our possession. It seems that time-outs aren't working anywhere near as well as they used to... ***sighs***

Familiarity is a good thing, as is hoping that this is but the barest sliver of the beginning of friendship.

I know I've mentioned it before, but I'd like to issue an open invite to folks - anytime we're home and awake. For kitten time, for tea, for conversation, for whatever games people might be in the mood for, for hanging out, or whatever. Just call, IM, or get a thread going on lj about it.
