I'd like to thank those of you who helped make Aidan's party a fun, special day. I am so grateful to mechanchaos' parents for making it possible for us to get out to Vertex Friday evening. I always love dancing to what DJ Cedric plays. Here's to hearing Apoptygma Berzerk's "Unicorn" (Duet Version) played at my request! For those who don't know- I'd requested that song every time I was there for months. Granted we didn't get there that often, but it was still a pleasure not to be denied it. ***grins wide***

Last night I finally got a decent night's sleep in over half a week. Yay! I'm still catching up, but it feels soooooooo good to work on that.

Ugh!

So much for getting all excited about Vertex this coming Friday. I called my folks and they said no to an Aidan visit. They have previous plans to go with some friends of theirs to a Bison's game on Sat, and they're registered in a race on Friday. (They like to enter those for the exercise. My dad runs, my mom walks, they both get free stuff.)

Still, when I heard that John had the weekend off, I was truly hoping we could go. It isn't like we go every Friday these days. ***pouts***

EDIT: I'd posted a thank you to DJ Cedric on his yahoo group. He said to tell all my friends along with me last Friday thanks from him. He mentioned that you were all so nice. The specific post is here. ***smiles*** I've got to say, Cedric is certainly my favorite Vertex DJ.
