The cold has made something of a comeback. I admit, I didn't help it much by lazing online until late late late. I got to bed sometime after 3. Originally I'd planned to check out the other UU church today. When John called me around 7:40-something to fill me in on the morning from hell, I realized that there was no way in a boiling lake of lava that it'd be wise for me to wake up that early with my head, throat, and chest feeling the way they were. So in I slept. It was around 11:30-something when I woke up for good. I'm still headachy, but I just took some Tylenol for that. I've got a sniffly nose, and an occasionally nagging cough. It isn't anywhere near as ucky as on Friday, but it isn't as friendly as it was yesterday. Ah well.

I'm going to make a concerted effort to get to bed early tonight. With a 7:00 am wake up time tomorrow, I'm going to need it. The more I pamper myself this week, the better I'll feel next weekend. Besides, next weekend Aidan will be with my folks, AND [livejournal.com profile] mechanchaos will have off. Monday no school, so Aidan is returning Monday or Tuesday. Yay!!!!!!!!!! We'll have to do some sort of date-day at least one of those, and a friend-nifty day on another. ***grins wide*** I'm just hoping his schedule will stay that way.... With the Suckerland Group, you never can tell.

mmm Matzoh Ball Soup. Here's to all my Jewish friends in college turning me onto warm numminess. Toward the end of simmering, I added some garlic to the broth to help us all with the current seasonal cold. Good dinner, not too heavy, great for an early evening. Aidan isn't feeling well at all. He asked us to save his in the fridge. I can understand. I'm just trying to keep him well hydrated, and get him to at least taste a little bit. He was apparently eating better at Grandma and Grandpa's place over the weekend. He should be fine. If what he's got is anything like mine, I can understand that he's not feeling even close to his best today. ***hugs to [livejournal.com profile] mechanchaos for all the help he's been today***
