(no subject)

Those who know me know that I am as prone as any to get swept away by a tasty novel. Yet I know I don't post much about what I read. I am one to lose myself to a story for a time, to become another world, then to step back to my own with a few delicious memories ephemeral as dreams.

Today I step out of my hermitage to share a book I have not yet read:

I am excited by Catherynn M. Valente's (yuki_onna) new novel Palimpsest. Rather than asking you to believe what I think about it, I encourage you to sample it here. She paints a vivid world that I am eager to get caught up in, a sexually-transmitted city made multisensory by her partnership with s00j.

Now to save up so I can procure myself a copy...
