I appreciate your nutrition metaphor. It makes sense to me.
It's been 11 years since I've been with a woman I loved. That's a long time to go with a deficiency in my "diet." mechanchaos crosses, and I love those moments when he doesn't need a lick of makeup for his face to radiate girlishness, but ultimately it's not the same thing.
Yet, I love him. I care about him. He knows me better than anyone. I value the conversations we have, the snuggles we share, the time just hanging out. I feel awful saying that this leaves me incomplete... But it does.
