*dusts off this thing a bit*

It boils down to a few simple points. I'm in my own apartment now, albeit directly downstairs from my previous one. I am currently carless. I'm still working overnights. I'm still loving singing with the RWCC. I am still bumming internet from upstairs for the moment. For the first time in a decade or so, I have my own not-shared computer. I'm not planning on getting a land line, but I am planning on getting broadband. Soon I'll be trying for a car, even if it's a crappy last-me-a-year one.

These two feet I'm standing on, however wobbly, are my own.

Not sure if this is in your timeline/price range for a car, but we will be trading in/selling P's Jetta around Christmas. It's a 2004, silver and is a standard transmission. We'd be asking about $6000. If you interested, cool - let me know; if you're not interested cool.

Unfortunately, that is beyond my means at the moment. Otherwise I'd be very much interested. I'd be lucky if I could scrape together $2K by then. I may end up getting something older at a less-than-reputable dealer who'll get me set up for cheap + weekly payments.
