The red kitten is now officially Dweezil! [livejournal.com profile] dawnstar and [livejournal.com profile] kolys will be his people.

[livejournal.com profile] mechanchaos has laid claim to the black kitten from the beginning, and has named him Morpheus.

I have to admit, the grey kitten has been doing his best to totally win my heart. He is often the first one to climb on my feet or onto my lap whenever I go into the bedroom. He's even been known to cry from the floor to be picked up, or played with. I don't think I would be able to part with him.

I accidentally stepped on the mackerel tabby Friday night. At first, I feared she was injured. Fortunately she was just very frightened and is playing with the others like nothing happened. Still, depending on the level of interest in kittens, I may keep her too. Regardless, anyone who would take her, would need to keep that in mind and understand if she ends up skittish about people.

Also discussable is that [livejournal.com profile] cheshire23, [livejournal.com profile] skrshawk, and [livejournal.com profile] hbbtrbbtbcnbt have expressed interest in the ginger kitten.

So far, the tortoiseshell tabby is not spoken for.

I was hoping we could get thoughts and feelings out in the air, so perhaps we can deside who will be responsible for naming the kittens. This is the time they are being socialized, so it will help them bond with their names to begin as soon as possible.

Awww... poor little tortie! If we were looking for a female, she would have won me over immediately. She has the sweetest little face! :)

She is such a sweet and playful kitten, but in keeping Minerva, it wouldn't make sense to keep her too. When my mom was here she said that if she would be in a position to take a kitten, she'd take both the girls. It seemed she had a lot of fun with the tortoiseshell tabby.

Assuming I can actually afford to get out of here, I wouldn't mind one of the girls. But of course, I'd have to pull off the whole moving thing first.

Wah. So much for me thinking I was just a dog person!

Not to be a pest but I've been attached to the ginger one from the instant I saw him born...:) I want a little Crookshanks! *grin*

*grins* Like I said earlier, I think we may have to re-breed Minerva, just to have enough kittens to go around! :)

I'm probably going to feel akin to Minerva when the kittens who will be going to other homes have to leave. Tonight I spent time reading where the little ones alternately climbed me, played with my clothing or each other, fell asleep on me, and played with me. Lovely little darlings, each and every one of them.

It's ok if you really want the ginger guy. I'll live :) Is Scotty looking forward to having a playmate? :)

I think the concern I have at this point is whether Skadi will be as much of a companion for the kitten as the kitten will be for her. I know at one point you mentioned two kittens. I know that there aren't enough in this litter for that. Still, it might be more beneficial for all the kitties involved in the long run. What are your thoughts on the matter? ***is hoping to come to a balance of pros and cons***
