My dad got out of the hospital yesterday since his blood level was back up again. They'd given him some meds in there that really messed up his temporal awareness. It was odd. He couldn't tell that his transfusions happened on separate days, and he mixed up information from my answering message with what I was talking to him about at the time. When I called today, he sounded much more himself. Here's hoping he can adapt smoothly to his ulcer-care diet, including not drinking.

On my part, I haven't had another tummy episode since Sunday midday. Today I'm getting the same sensory tweakage though. It's like my sensory input is on overdrive. It's giving me a headache.

I've got a lot to do to prep for this weekend and next week. mechanchaos and I are going to be going to the Herkimer Diamond Mines. We'll likely be staying with the KOA there. I'm also hoping to do a bigger run to the adirondacks since there's a garnet mine out that way. It's a gemstone camping trip of doom! :)

I'm also looking forward to Aidan's birthday and the big, conglomo, brain-birthday-bash in honor of Matt, hbbtrbbtbcnbt, and lite (with dawnstar and I following shortly after.) It should be a fun, though busy, time. :)

I was just thinking today that we might need someone to peek in on them. If you don't mind, I'd like it if you could check in on them. ***hugs lots and tightly*** We could leave you one of the sets of housekeys. We'll be coming back on Wednesday afternoon / evening. I have a Thursday Morning appointment at the gyn for my depo shot.
