I saw the RPA at Lifetime Health's Greece Center. She seemed like she was one to normally see kids, but gets put on overflow when necessary. (A big clue was the fuzzy-dog plushie sleeve on her stethoscope.) She did the usual, declared my chest clear, and pronounced it likely an upper-resperatory-turned-sinus infection. I have amoxicillan on my side now, and she gave me the OK to drug the fever into submission at night so I can sleep. I might even stoop to nyquil even though it shuts down the flow of things if I'm likely to get a full night's rest with it tonight. I think at this point I'd rather try it than wonder. It seems like the infectious waste from this bug wants to exit in any way possible at this point. Just call me hawk-a-loogie and cough-up-a-lung girl. ***cringes at her own disgustingness*** Anyhow, I hope the assistance of meds will eradicate this invasion force. I'm sick of being sick.
