Tee hee! I was playing around with the camera today, hoping to catch an Aidan unawares. Unfortunately I botched that roll. ***shrugs***




He wasn't too happy to see that camera. Luckily, I got him to tell stories to the cats. From that I caught this image:

Oh, and while I was loading the batteries into the camera, Zephyr insisted on a close up.




I love the cattens.

See, I like the first picture. Out of context, I think it looks very "curiosity interrupted" -- even if it is a little fuzzy. His eyes are open s:)

And Zephyr looks so grown-up!

This is one of my favorite recent shots of Epiphany. She loves this toy so much, if she hears it from across the room she'll come running after it. And this is a classic Mystery pose.

I'd asked him to find Zephyr, in hopes that I could catch a natural smile. But he looked up and got interrupted before the smile came out. I got a few others, but I figured four photos was enough for an uncut photo post. (Since I rarely post pics, I wanted this one to be eye-catching.)

Zephyr is huge, though no longer a pudgeball.

OMG THE CUTE!!!

Aidan looks like he should be starring in a British children's movie. I'm not sure that makes a lot of sense to someone who's not in my head, but that's what I thought when I saw the pictures. You know, those kids who are like, cute but not fake-cute, and they look all wise-beyond-their-years but ready for fantasy and adventure? That.

***grins*** Your description of what Aidan looks like is rather apt. He's energetic and intelligent and asks all those bothersome questions that I asked when I was a kiddo and more! He would love being a part of fantasy and adventure. :)

A year or so ago, Aidan very VERY strongly resembled a young Draco Malfoy - especially when his hair was combed back after a bath. The resemblance has faded somewhat now, though. :)

That's because Aidan's hair has darkened to be like John's rather than staying a bright blonde. Apparently John's did the same thing when he was young. The comb-back look also worked better when his hair was longer.

Then there were the days when Aidan was really small and had a big ol' mop of blonde ringlets. :)
