The coming term should be interesting. I'm taking Educational Planning: all the grad school and career opportunity stuff I need and more. I'm also taking Religion in American History, Introduction to Ethics, and and in-depth look at Eastern Religions. Lots of stuff to get the noggin percolating.

I didn't get to ask you last night, but which two of the Big Three are you particularly thinking will be difficult? (You'd said that 2, maybe 3 will be, but I didn't get a chance to ask which two of those three.)

It sounds like a great semester, for you, though. Yes, it's work... but it's work you're going to enjoy, and reading you'd probably want to do on your own anyway. You just wouldn't have to explain it to a mentor or write papers about it. :)

Religion in American History is a veritable blunderbuss. I get to face all sorts of different sects of Christianity whether I'm interested in them or not, and to see history (one of my worst subjects) through that lens. I know that's not all that is to it, and I've seen where some of the most opinionated Christian ideas intersect the center. Still, it might have periods of drudge-though.

The first time in college, I avoided ethics like the plague. Still, I think ethics is a core aspect of philosophy that I need for advancement. This one is tackling old avoidances which might be challenging.

Those are the big two, but there might be a third. Even though I love Eastern Religions with a passion these days, sometimes the nitpicky details don't like to stick in my head. So, this one may be challenging despite my fascination with the subject.

True enough re: busy. In three semesters I'll be ready for grad school. Considering I first went to college in 1994, it's about bloody time. :) It'll be nice to have a career instead of sitting on my butt. Wait a minute... I like sitting on my butt and playing video games... Uh oh.
