[livejournal.com profile] hai_kah_uhk posted a great stamp design the other day. Since stamp making is fun, I figured I'd post my stamp art too.

Since sometimes I go by the handle HeronSinger, I made this one to go with.

This one goes along with the Felicula or Black Felicula handle.

I made this one because I like the quartered circle with an infinity sign woven in.

I didn't realize that it was so tricky to get a decent digital image of my stuff with a camera...

That heron is gorgeous. They all are, but I really like the heron.

Thanks lots! I spent more time on the heron, but that was mostly in the knotwork. I have a college friend to thank, though, for the pictures. Even after we had a falling out, she gave me some of the proof sheets from taking pics of a heron at Oswego. I based the stamp off of one of the images.

These are great! Having done a few myself, I know what it entails to get the little knife in there for the precision detail work, and I'm duly impressed. I like the heron and knotwork too. And of course I'm partial to cat art, so I like the cat - it's a good letterboxing sig stamp. The circle with infinity is visually pleasing and clever.

I noticed that I didn't work much with positive and negative space on mine. I love how the dark and light spaces work together on yours. :)
