mechanchaos and I spent a couple hours at Jenny's Ice Cream in Williamsville meeting and chatting with bizarrogirl. Welcome bizarrogirl! My cinnamon nutmeg milkshake was delicious. It was fun to share sniffies of BPAL and chat about perfume, parenting, interests, and some of the parks in that part of Williamsville.

We got back to my folks' place to find a message from kolys. Calling back, I found out that it was a tad too late to meet up. I feel bad that we missed seeing dawnstar and kolys. I'm glad they had fun at their event of the evening!

We had dinner with my parents, which was expected, but awkward since my dad has been drinking again. I think that for this half a week we spent there, he was the worst I'd seen him in a long time. Never mind the doctors' warnings after the discovery of so many ulcers. Never mind that he wanders the house like a confused spectre. I have nightmares about him , Leaving Las Vegas style.

mechanchaos and I tried to just relax Saturday night, but Chicago was playing on TV, so we stayed up to watch it for the first time.
