I was feeling better today. So, what do I do with my feeling better? I tried some light housework: washing a couple dishes, cleaning the stove's surface, consolidating laundry in bags, putting fresh sheets on the bed. Really, it wasn't that much. It didn't require any heavy lifting. This stuff would've been a warm-up to the real cleaning before I had my surgery.
So why am I now shaky and dizzy?
Recuperation sucks.

Btw, while I have your attention, can you ask John how late he's planning to have the party last on Saturday? I left him a comment, but I know he's not on LJ/e-mail very much during the week.

Would it be worth asking Aidan to help with non-breakable things like laundry sorting/transport?

I don't think John had that part planned... Now that I've asked him, he says, "I was thinking as long as people wanted to stay. Maybe 2 or 3 hours, possibly longer..."
I'm looking forward to seeing people, myself. If things wind down there in the park, there's a chance we could end up back here for more social-time. I don't know for sure.

And then you have a way to burn off kidlet energy, and get things done, and teach him Useful Skills all at once! s:)
