I was feeling better today. So, what do I do with my feeling better? I tried some light housework: washing a couple dishes, cleaning the stove's surface, consolidating laundry in bags, putting fresh sheets on the bed. Really, it wasn't that much. It didn't require any heavy lifting. This stuff would've been a warm-up to the real cleaning before I had my surgery.

So why am I now shaky and dizzy?

Recuperation sucks.

*hug*

Would it be worth asking Aidan to help with non-breakable things like laundry sorting/transport?

Aidan's not back until Saturday. Besides, doing laundry is plumb out for me with all the repetition of stairs involved. This was just looking at the cloth (clothing and sheets included) on the floor, groaning at the mess, and putting things in bags. Once Aidan's back, I'll be involving him in as many ways as possible.

***hugs back***

Ah, I didn't realize that. Makes some sense, though.

And then you have a way to burn off kidlet energy, and get things done, and teach him Useful Skills all at once! s:)

***nods*** I just hope I don't wipe out while doing the teaching end of things. I also hope he can get out of his habit of kamikaze hugging. I love him, but Ow.

Just take it one thing at a time. *hug*

Eep, yes, that's not going to be helpful right now.

The kid has soooo much energy. I love him to pieces, but sometimes it's exhausting just watching him! He visited last Saturday with [livejournal.com profile] mechanchaos's parents, and my head got so woobly watching him. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth...
