(no subject)

OK, so as of Friday I started what seemed to be an on-and-off, but flowing period. Today I have side uckies first on left, then right. Not so much intense pain as a dull red that shifts to yellow and white when I move. I was feeling a little light-headed and cold-and-hot so I took my temp: 101.5. OK, need to call the doctor in the morning. ***sad and ouchy***

Edit: I'm having trouble staying asleep. Temp is still 101.3. I'm drinking water to try to assist the internal cooling system. The cats are all over me, like "man, this is some warm person!" and taking advantage of the hot that surrounds my like a halo of red. ***plans on being up long enough to finish a bottle of water, then attempting sleep again***

Edit again: I'm still in a bunch of pain, but the doctor's office couldn't book me until 2:20. I hate having to kill time when I'm ouchy. Temp before I called was 101.6. Ucky. This is not a good day.

I think a call to the doctor tomorrow is in order regardless. I don't know if I'm going to be very functional for Aidan's get-up time and mechanchaos's down time tomorrow. I'm just soooooo thankful that tomorrow happens to be a day that Aidan goes to visit my folks. That means things that need to be done can go on without boring him to tears.

Please keep us posted on what happens. I'm a bit worried. As I mentioned last night, I will be reachable by cellphone after 12:30 or so. While I'd very much like to see you tonight, your health comes before all else.

I can leave work early if necessary, also. But at the very least, I'd like to be kept posted.
