My cousin sent this link to me. It's an article in the New York Times about out of state gay marriages being upheld in courts in New York State. One of the couples is from Rochester.

gay marriages should definitely be upheld. A marriage is a marriage is a marriage.

I agree. I am ashamed to say that the county I live in is appealing the ruling upholding the marriage of the couple in Rochester. I hope the appeal fails.

I hope so too. I'll never understand that. I really won't. I hope things are drastically different when my son grows up.
