a moment of spring

Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I took Aidan out for a walk this morning. It turned out to be too warm for either of our coats, so I stripped down to my Felicula t-shirt and my standard stretch-pants-and-shorts combo.

Add to that the luxury of turning the heat off and opening the windows and I'm sure to find a smile creeping into the corners of my lips. Today is probably what I'd consider my ideal outdoor temperature. I pray that the sky will see fit to keep us in the warm long enough to put a major dent in the piles of snow out front.

The simple exercise of walking is something I've been sorely missing during the winter months.

I'm not certain the name of it, but we walked down to the waterfall near the Driving Park bridge. The path was covered in snow heavily into the process of melting. Aidan did wonderfully, even though he tends to get tired for the trip home. He made it though. If I keep this up with him through the summer he'll have iron legs! Hopefully so will I... ***mischievous grin***

I was wondering if anyone might be interested in a Friday trip to Vertex. It is one of those rare evenings where we are Aidan-free and have no plans as of yet.
