Rather than continue to stress over trying to fix a machine that may or may not do what we want it to, or spending more money than we ought to on parts, we've decided to turn our attentions elsewhere.

We're still giving Aidan the desk, but we're going to wait on the computer. In its stead we're fast forwarding on getting Seabreeze tickets and going tomorrow. (weather says mostly cloudy rather than rain or storms) Consequently, I'm going to need to do prep time tonight for Friday.

***apologetic*** I'm sorry to end up planning just to cancel. It's just made a busy week for us busier. I want it to be relaxing and fun tomorrow for Aidan.

I don't think any of us were just coming over for the computer. If you want the company, we'll still come by. :)

Alternatively, if anyone else steps up to offer their place for a gathering tonight... we'll be interested in doing so. *glances at Kristen and at Beth*

It has a lot more to do with the fact that we need prep time for Friday and won't have tomorrow to do it all in. Some cooking and cleaning...

Also, we'd been focusing a little too much on the computer idea, so we really need time to relax as a family.

It is nothing against folks in general, just trying to do what we need. ***hugs***
