Today I decided to think about and write down the kinds of things I believe, in a creed-style format. It was really more of an exercise for myself.

I believe in the All, the entirety of existence; all that was, is, and will be taken as a single, living, evolving entity.

I believe that all Gods and Goddesses fall within the All, as do the multiverse, the known universe, all galaxies, solar systems, and planets, as well as all life as we know it.

I believe that each planet is a living, evolving entity, a part of the universe likened unto a single cell in an organism. Likewise, I believe that all that exists forms the cells of the All.

I believe that each and every part of every planet contributes to the well being of that planet.

I believe that human beings are but one part of the living, evolving body of the Earth.

I believe that spirit is another form of energy, and as such could be rarefied into more subtle forms of energy, or concentrated into matter.

I believe that all matter contains spirit.

I believe that all parts of the All have the power to tap into the whole for strength, knowledge, reassurance, wisdom, or magic.

I define magic affecting the known physical world using the discipline of tapping into the All.

I believe that external trappings of magic is not necessary to perform magic, but that meditation, concentration, visualization, invocation, evocation, prayer, ritual, and ceremony can assist one in accomplishing the necessary state of mind for tapping into the All. Facilitation is not limited to what is listed here.

I believe that religions as we know it are ways to tap into the All. Different methods work better for different people.

I believe that scientific discovery is a way to learn about what we can perceive of the All. Some of what we perceive may be incorrect; and we may never know everything there is to know about the All.

I believe that we are always a part of the All, before, during, and after our lives. I believe that death is merely a transmutation of our form from human to the more basic elements that make us up.

I believe that once we are reduced to that which makes us up, we could be reincarnated in any form: animate, inanimate, or energy. We could be reincarnated in any place, but are more likely to end up on the same planet from which we passed away.

I believe that good is cooperating with ourselves, one another, the Earth as a whole, and the universe we are a part of.

I believe that bad is intentionally causing any form of harm to ourselves, one another, the Earth as a whole, or the universe we are a part of.

I believe that no sex, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, or nationality is better than any other, nor is any more correct than any other.

I believe that persecution of a group based on sex, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, or nationality is wrong.

I believe that all food as we know it comes from living sources: animal, vegetable, and mineral, and should be respected regardless of source.

It's long, and rather on the scientific metaphysical side of things, but it accurately reflects a good chunk of my belief system.
