No wonder I was so keen on posting my belief list today. Thing is, I've had a bit of a spiritual dry spell. Now I'm trying to reassess what I believe, and how I can encorporate that more into my life.
Today I took Aidan out to sit and talk near the big Oak in Maplewood Park across from the end of our street. We collected acorns and nestled armloads of them in various hollows near the base of the trunk. We collected a few of them to try planting. We also looked around us and thought of many things that are part of the whole to give thanks to for being there.
I think that going to a Catholic school will be a good experience for Aidan. I just feel the need to show him other forms of reverence, worship, and spirituality too. I want to show him that though mommy and daddy don't go to Church, it doesn't mean that we aren't spiritual at all.
