To look at Dweezil today amazes me. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was as uninjured as the other kittens. He was the first to climb up to the bed that I know of, and he did it climbing the relatively smooth comforter, rather than on the knitted blanket. He plays, eats, and sleeps with his siblings as if he has nothing different.
I've also made an appointment for March 14 to have him checked out. 2pm if my memory serves me right. I've chosen ARDDA Animal Hospital as our veterinarian. While I was at it, I made a general appoinment for everybody on April 1 (no joke!) at which point they will all get their shots. Minerva will be tested for feline leukemia, as a representative of the group. The others won't likely need testing unless she shows up positive. I'll also be taking in a Minerva and a kitten stool sample to test for worms at that time.
Aidan's footboard had broken a few days ago when we moved the bed to straighten the sheets. Today we went to VoA in Greece just off of Dewey Ave. and found a sturdy, pretty headboard and footboard set for $20. I consider that a nice find, and Aidan gets a nice bed out of the deal.
After what I suspect was a momentary partial dislocation of my right ankle Monday things are sore, but my range of movement is improving each day. Thankfully it had popped back as I was on my way from standing to sprawled after it happened. Hot baths and refraining from dancing to my favorite songs has helped.
