Politics has even been slipping into linguaphiles... Someone asked the community to translate the German in the campaign video at the top of the George W. Bush and Dick Cheney campaign site. It seems that the Bush / Cheney campaign team likes the idea of comparing Kerry with Hitler. Oh, the irony...

Does Bush honestly think that comparing Kerry to Hitler will be effective? How can stooping that low aim to distract the rest of us?

EDIT:Some are saying the Bush site is a parody site. Others are saying it was hacked. What I know is that it is the first hit when I google "campaign headquarters Bush", and that http://www.georgebush.com and http://www.georgewbush.com are the same site. mechanchaos pinged them. Maybe it was hacked. Who knows? We'll see if the movie is still up in a week...
