I'm thinking of inviting folks over Thursday evening for dinner/conversation/games/music/whatever happens. I was wondering what people's thoughts, schedules, and other reactions about the idea are.
Would like to be there, but with 'rents coming into town Saturday, I need to be seriously productive in the cleaning department tonight & tomorrow. Will update status as week progresses. s:)
Hmm....sounds loffly :) I just need to check with Matt. What time were you thinking roughly? We would need to leave around 8, because Dakota has school the next day.
Hmm... times... Chances are we'll be sleeping somewhat late, but I'd still like to give everyone enough time to hang out. I'll say, if there are people who can stop by early-ish, around 2:30 or 3:00 pm, feel free to drop by, and for those who have things they need to do earlier, we'll set dinner around 6:00 pm or whenever it is done. If anyone wishes to bring music, games, movies, or just plain old whatever ***grins*** feel free to do so.
I was wondering if people had ideas of what they would like for dinner. mechanchaos suggested Cincinatti Chili, a mild chili similar to the kind of chili that gets put on chili dogs, only this is served over fusilli lunghi with cheese and beans to top. mchanchaos, who isn't fond of hot foods enjoys it quite a bit. Still, I know that that might not be good for everyone. If you have other suggestions or like this one, let me know. :)
Well, soonest I'd be there is 9ish. *pouts* Depending on who's still there and for how long, I may just wait until I get home to eat, or if there's any left, I'll give it a try. Whatever works out best, I'll be OK with. s:)
I think I'm going to go ahead with the chili idea. If I get it cooking today, the flavors will have a nice chance to blend well before tomorrow. I think I'll get enough pasta so that if people don't want to try the chili, they can have the pasta without it, and for those of you who like a spicy chili, you might want to bring some of your favorite hot sauce, or use the Franks Red Hot that I have here. Anyhow, it will be a come over when you can, so long as it is after 2:30 in the afternoon. I'm going to aim to have dinner ready by 6:00 or so. If you'd like, bring music, games, movies, crazy ideas and conversation, or whatever else you'd like.

We are out of work at 4:30ish... so we can get there, umm... however long after 4:30 it takes to get from MCC to your house. :)
