I thought it wouldn't be until this evening, but when I called the vet this morning, they asked if we could be there at 11:20. He's got some shaved parts on his front legs from the blood test and IV, and some on his bum from the recatheterization, but other than that he's my good Leo. He's lovey and vocal, though he looks more slender than I remember him. We have him set up in our bedroom so he can have his special food, we can keep an eye on his bodily functions, and the other cats can get used to him again. When I gave him his quarter cup of dry food, he scarfed it. I need to give him antibiotics and a relaxant for his urethra (in liquid and tablet form respectively). The whole thing cost more than I expected, but I think that's from the recatheterization and the extra night worth of vet care. He needs to go back on July 28 for a re-check, unless something comes up in the meantime, but hopefully he'll be better in no time. The neat thing is that this means we'll have one cat in the chilly AC room with us. :) I love the Leo! (I love the other cats too, but I've missed Leo.)
