Whether or not it will help matters, I intend to participate in the content strike for 24 hours GMT on Friday.
Posts concerning the strike are here and here. I will be going LJ-free -- not reading, not posting, not commenting -- for at least the 24 hours of the strike.
This Wired article is a thorough exploration of why free is in, and lends some insight to why SUP is getting so much backlash for their business decisions.
