Usually, if someone seeks to surprise me and the tell me they wish to surprise me, it pisses me off. That's because my imagination is a whirling dervish of speculation, and most people most of the time are unable to trump what my imagination comes up with. Thus, the letdown.

[livejournal.com profile] mechanchaos managed to trump my imagination.

Tuesday, after work, he handed me a bag. I was loathe to look in it. I feared the disappointment if my imagination had indeed won out. When I finally peeked, I had to hunt for where my jaw had skittered across the floor.

He gave me an 80GB iPod.

I have a feeling that it will be an excellent companion for my convalescence. Now I need to learn how to use iTunes...

*grins* You seem to be making good progress in your iTunes 101 class. :)

***grins back and nods*** Using it when I'm on the computer is helping. It encourages me to work on the playlists. I want to have a few good ones put together before next Wednesday.

Thanks for giving me some pointers! ***hugs***

You're very welcome, and I'm happy to keep coaching you along if you find that you have other questions with use. :)

Did you and Beth have a good rest-of-the-afternoon after I headed off for work?

Well it wasn't just me - I'm pretty sure you and I had the conversation together. I just suggested the specific time. :)
