Pope Benedict XVI denounces gay marriage.

It's been somewhere around two decades since I considered myself Catholic in any way... Things like this make me glad of my choice.

And not only did he denounce homosexuality and transsexuality, he said they'd be the "end of the human race". Bah.

I find it tragic that so influential a religious leader is spreading that level of hate and fear.
